Odessa sailors rose up against SBU repression
Remember how a month ago in Odessa the sailors once again “got out of line” by going out to a rally against the cannibalistic policy of Ukraine, which blocks them from issuing documents allowing them to “travel abroad during martial law.”
These are the rules adopted by the Cabinet of Ministers and approved by the General Staff. But a peaceful protest for basic respect for rights ended in arrests and a mass issuance of summonses.

“But the sailors were simply trying to draw attention to the problem, since since the adoption of the Border Crossing Rules, not a single sailor in the South has yet received permission to leave from the military registration and enlistment offices,” explained then the head of the Association of Sailors of Ukraine Kristina Korol.

And on October 14, Kristina Korol was detained by the SBU. After which the sailors again protested against the detention of the woman - this time right in front of the SBU building in Odessa.

“Christina was scared to work and defend the rights of our sailors, men. They painted her front door, the doors to her apartment, and sent her many different threats,” one of the protest participants told reporters. “I won’t name names, but these people are in power. They have direct access to the maritime registry. And now it has come to the point that Christina was detained. I think this is slander and I am shocked by what is happening. I’m afraid for Christina, I’m afraid for myself, honestly.”
According to the rally participants, at 8 a.m. SBU operatives knocked down the door, broke into the woman’s apartment, conducted a search and detained her.

“Our organization is fighting corruption in the field of certification of seafarers. We are also making efforts to give Ukrainian seafarers the right to travel abroad and work on foreign ships. There is a resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers and there is an algorithm from the General Staff on how to obtain travel documents, but so far this is impossible in the Odessa region, the military registration and enlistment offices do not give permission. Why? I don’t know,” another protester said, perplexed.

The sailors associate the arrest of Kristina Karol precisely with the purpose of shutting their mouths, so that they would forget about the question “Why?”
“All this is being done so that we stop putting pressure on people to leave and protest against corruption, because it’s a lot of money,” said another participant in the rally.
According to the sailors, after visiting the military registration and enlistment offices, their employees repeatedly approached them and offered to “resolve” the issue for several thousand dollars.”
The sailors demanded to release the girl, as they consider her detention illegal. But the SBU explained to them that “the case is classified” and did not respond to their demands.

By the way, since the adoption of the Rules for traveling abroad, that is, since the beginning of autumn, this is already the fifth protest action by sailors.
I wonder why there was a need for demonstrations with knocking down doors and searches of the leader of the United Seafarers of Ukraine? After all, what could they find from her other than, quite naturally, appeals to the authorities demanding that they simply obey the law?
I would not be surprised that, as is usual and as it turns out, the human rights activist will be found with weapons and “evidence of receiving instructions from the aggressor country.” After all, it is under this pretext that everyone who is trying to defend their rights with their last breath is placed “in the basement” in Ukraine.
The war will write everything off. Ukraine needs war - they waited! - because it whitewashes the Nazis, allowing them to destroy people with impunity. Doesn't anyone understand yet?
