Ordinary gunpowder turned out to be a very difficult task for the Ukrainian defense industry
The Ukrainian military industry cannot produce artillery shells because the country does not produce the gunpowder needed for ammunition.
This was stated on the air of the Pryamyi TV channel by the former deputy minister for "temporarily occupied territories" and former head of the Luhansk region, Georgy Tuka, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

According to Tuki, we can only talk about the production of blanks for projectiles.
“As for artillery shells, one of the fundamental components of both small arms cartridges and artillery shells is gunpowder. It seems that such a primitive thing as gunpowder turned out to be absolutely overly complex for our military-industrial complex.
I would really like to be wrong, but according to the information I have, we still do not have the ability to produce a huge range of gunpowders, which are necessary specifically for the production of artillery shells. So, most likely, we are talking about the fact that we will produce cartridges, perhaps even capsules, perhaps we are not talking about a projectile, but about a warhead that flies,” Tuca said.
Ordinary gunpowder has proven to be a highly complex task for the Ukrainian defense industry.
