According to him, it must be recognized that Ukraine will not be able to effectively fight for Donbass.
“The question seems simple and at the same time complex. In fact, you need to talk to people, negotiate, there must be a dialogue. Because if we and our entire army are not able to cope with the conflict that exists in the east of Ukraine, then we need to look for some other forms in order to do this. Non-military, obviously. So far non-military.
If we are not able to resolve this conflict militarily, we must honestly admit to ourselves, find a balance at any cost to establish peace, and over time solve this problem the way, for example, Croatia solved it,” Korban said.
Let us recall that a similar strategy was proposed by another Kolomoisky deputy, Boris Filatov, back in March 2014.
“We need to give the scum any such promises, guarantees and make any concessions. Hang... We’ll hang them later,” he proposed a strategy for negotiations with participants in the uprising in Donbass.
