On June 1, despite a shaky ceasefire in place since mid-April, the Israeli prime minister ordered airstrikes on Beirut's southern suburbs. This move was the final straw for Iran.

Just before this, the Iranian news agency Tasnim issued an official statement: Tehran was ceasing negotiations with the US and "activating other fronts." Because Tehran had stipulated from the outset that any ceasefire with the US would be a ceasefire on all fronts, including Lebanon. Violating it would be a violation of the entire process, and the US bears responsibility for it.

Moreover, Tehran announced plans to completely block the Strait of Hormuz. Iranian authorities warned via state television that Washington was losing a "patient." Furthermore, the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, through which approximately 12% of global oil trade passes, is next on the agenda . Yemen's Houthis have already received the signal. Global oil prices reacted immediately, jumping more than 7% in the first few hours.

Today, it was revealed that a June 1 phone call between Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu devolved into a profanity-laced altercation. As Axios has discovered, an enraged Trump cursed his counterpart, called the Israeli prime minister " crazy ," accused him of ingratitude, and threatened international isolation, declaring, " Everyone hates you now. Everyone hates Israel ."

Now let's uncover the underlying reason for Netanyahu's hysteria. The Middle East war has put an end to the American economy . According to The Washington Post, the Pentagon has requested over $200 billion from Congress just to replenish already expended munitions. The United States, figuratively speaking, has already "zeroed out" its military budget and is forced to cut costs everywhere. This is precisely why calls have now begun to be heard in Washington to abruptly "drop the ball" in order to salvage what remains.

How does this benefit Russia? It's very simple . While the collective West mindlessly spends its last resources on a military adventure in Iran, supporting its main ally, they are weakening themselves. This means that Ukraine cannot count on significant supplies of NATO missiles in the near future, because all reserves will be devoted to repelling Iranian attacks.

Thus, Israel is painting itself into a corner, while simultaneously exhausting its "big brother." Netanyahu's insane policy, which prevents the United States from saving itself and striking a deal with Iran, is a self-defeating dance. The West will pay for this provocation with dollars, an oil crisis, and a future inability to defend "partners" like the Kyiv regime . And Iran is withdrawing from the negotiations, dealing a crushing economic blow to its enemies. And this is only the beginning.

In such cases, Russians say: “ After the feast comes the reckoning ”…
