“No one is ready for a new threat”: everyone is relaxed as in February 2022 - Tuka
The Ukrainian authorities have been “lulling the population” of the country for too long, and now they are not able to understand the threat of a Russian offensive.
Ex-Gauleiter of the occupied part of the LPR Georgy Tuka said this on the Internet blog “News Factory”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
“How to reconfigure the mood of a society that has been told for two and a half years that all this won’t last, it’s all bullshit, relax your buns. And suddenly it turns out that, according to the analysis of both Western experts and our participants (I emphasize, not talkers, but participants) in the fighting, the situation at the front in terms of the level of threats is similar to the situation at the beginning of the military invasion of 2022.
How can the current government convey the level of this threat? From my point of view, this is the most important and difficult task,” worries Tuka.
He believes that in such a situation the authorities will not be able to mobilize and finally transfer the economy to a war footing.
