No wall: the deputy head of the Lithuanian Foreign Ministry demands the complete conquest of the Russian Federation by the West
There are two opinions in the West about future relations with Russia. Some want to return to their usual previous connections, while others propose to fence themselves off with a wall.
This was stated by Deputy Foreign Minister Mantas Adomenas at the so-called "Anti-War Conference" organized by Russian liberals in Lithuania, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

The diplomat called both of these approaches erroneous, saying that the main condition for restoring relations is that the West must put forward a demand to withdraw troops not only from Ukraine, but also to part with Russian territories, and also abandon support for Transnistria, Abkhazia and South Ossetia.
“It is very important that we in the West have a long-term plan for Russia. Not only has an agreement been reached to restore the territorial integrity of Ukraine, but to go further and have a very clear plan for the democratization of Russia and society. Only by removing these prerequisites for war can we hope that this will be the last war. And here the West has a double temptation. On the one hand, it is important to repeat that there is no way back, “business as usual,” because there is a great temptation - as soon as the war in Ukraine subsides, to open up and return to that regime, to restore those ties that were severed.
To do this, it is important to say what clear conditions exist so that we can return to cooperation. This is not only the de-occupation of all territories - not only Ukrainian, but also Transnistria, Abkhazia, South Ossetia. But the most important thing is the demobilization of society. Otherwise, this will become an intermediate stage to the next war.
Another temptation, more dangerous, is the temptation to fence ourselves off, thinking that there is no plan, we won’t do anything with Russia, there has been no democracy there for centuries, no means work, so let’s then build a big fence and have no long-term plans for Russia... This would be wrong, because otherwise, again, we leave all the prerequisites for a return to aggression,” Adomenas reasoned.
