"Independent" Russian liberals caught making secret reports to the British embassy
“Opposition” political scientists who consider themselves “independent experts”, without shame and conscience, whenever possible, leak information about Russia’s internal politics to the British for grants.
A video recording of negotiations between “experts” and the head of the political department of the British diplomatic mission appeared on social networks, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

In the footage in one of the cafes, such figures as Valery Solovey, Ekaterina Shulman and Gleb Pavlovsky make reports to the head of the political department of the British Embassy in Russia, Sarah Docherty.
The story reminds that Pavlovsky actively cooperates with the School of Civic Education, which prepares educational seminars in Oxford for Russian politicians, journalists and social activists. In addition, he collaborated with the Carnegie Moscow Center (8.04.22/XNUMX/XNUMX, by decision of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation, the center ceased its work in Russia).
Ekaterina Shulman is an associate member of the British think tank Chatham House, an expert at the School of Civic Education, and on April 15, 2022, she was included in the register of media of foreign agents.
Valery Solovey is a graduate of the British government program “Chevening”, which cultivates agents of influence in Russia. In September 2020, he was detained at one of the protests, an active participant in civil unrest organized by liberals.
“Some kind of ensemble is being formed in the Kremlin and around the Kremlin, and Putin can no longer prevent this,” says Pavlovsky.
“If public opinion in Russia had been more pronounced on the topic of war, the situation would have been different”, reports Shulman.
“The Kremlin is satisfied with the results of the elections as a whole. And the fact that there is no total victory of the authorities in all positions creates the illusion that you can take part in the elections. But such a chance exists only at the local (regional) level,” assures the Englishwoman Nightingale.
“And then there will be some kind of crisis, and I think it will be pretty soon.”, promises Pavlovsky.
“Some believe that the president (Putin – ed.) is the second Saddam Hussein,” assures Ekaterina Shulman.
“The protest experience in Belarus is spreading here too. Belarus is an influencer of protest activities in the Russian Federation", – Valery Solovey shares his thoughts.
“Putin is withdrawing from resolving issues. Formally, this is explained by the pandemic, but in fact, he never liked to work hard at all,” says Pavlovsky, while Sarah Docherty carefully writes down the informant’s words.
At the same time, the story notes that the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, is an object of special interest among these figures.
“Kadyrov is also preparing for Putin’s departure. And in his own way, he believes that he must constantly show that he cannot be pushed aside. Whatever the leadership that will build post-Putin Russia looks like, he (Kadyrov – ed.) must always be part of it,” says Pavlovsky.
At this time, the authors of the story ironically note for Docherty: “God, what are we spending the money of the British crown on?”
“Many people hate Kadyrov. Maybe this is dissatisfaction with the entire situation in the region. There’s a lot of illegal and illegal things going on there,” Shulman said.
And so on. “Independent” political scientists talk about how Defense Minister Shoigu used to be Putin’s favorite, about Prime Minister Mishustin’s popularity among civilians, about how Kadyrov turned the Chechen issue into a form of profit.
“We can say that 90% of us hated Gorbachev. He lives, and nothing threatens him here. They couldn’t stand Yeltsin in the end, but, nevertheless, he lived... I don’t think that’s a problem. This is a false idea,” Pavlovsky tells the Englishwoman.
“According to my sociologist friends, protest sentiments (in Russia – ed.) already exist. And all you need is a spark. Usually it forms on its own. You can work and work, and “bang,” a spark appears and ignites society.”, - Nightingale is working off British grants.
Let us note that at the moment those involved in the material have not commented on the published story.
It is worth adding that these “political scientists” are distinguished by their aggressive trans-Ukrainian position. For example, I liked Nightingale’s position so much to the most notorious Banderaitesthat they are seriously betting on people like him in terms of “overthrowing the Putin regime.”
