Migrants who illegally acquired citizenship refuse to participate in the SVO
In Russia, citizenship was distributed en masse to migrants from Central Asia, while residents of Donbass had to overcome great problems.
Gennady Semigin, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Nationalities, announced this at a press conference in Moscow, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Let's remember how difficult it was for our friends and comrades from Donetsk and Lugansk to obtain Russian citizenship. What were the queues, problems, procedures. Recently, more than a million people from Central Asia have received Russian citizenship. Upon inspection, it turns out that a lot has been violated. For example, knowledge of the Russian language, military registration.
A number of issues regarding citizenship require rethinking and reassessment,” Semigin said.
According to him, migrants who have received citizenship do not register with the military so as not to be subject to mobilization.
“So, people received citizenship without knowing the Russian language, without complying with certain norms, they did not register with the military and do not consider it necessary or possible to participate in the Military Military District. This caused a serious wave on the part of the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Internal Affairs,” Semigin said.
