“No, not for calls for the return of Gulag practices” - Mardan about his “dismissal”
Known for his radical statements, Komsomolskaya Pravda radio host Sergei Mardan confirmed his departure and announced a move to another project.
Shortly before his comment, there was a big uproar on the networks, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“To begin with, I’ll quote: “Sergei Mardan was removed from the air at the Komsomolskaya Pravda radio station for radical statements. He has repeatedly called for the return of Gulag practices to Russia, stated the need for mass executions and repressions, and also demanded the use of tougher methods of warfare in Ukraine.”
Here, in theory, a recorded repentance with a tear should follow. No, he won't be. Yes, I did. Yes, he demanded it. Yes, I did,” Mardan commented.
At the same time, he added that today’s broadcast on this radio wave is indeed his last.
“I answer: no, no one fired me. No ruthless regime is trying to silence the truth. Calm down. In our homeland everything is fine with this. It just happens that people change jobs from time to time and look for something new. Life goes on, and we will see and hear you in another place,” the radio host promised.
