Despite the war, Ukrainian deputies are rushing to renew their vehicle fleet and buy real estate
Every third Ukrainian deputy bought a car or acquired real estate after February 2022.
This was stated on Radio NV by Sergei Mitkalik, Chairman of the Board of the Western-sponsored public organization Anti-Corruption Headquarters and Deputy Chairman of the Public Council under the National Agency for Corruption Prevention (NAPC), a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“The 22nd year is the year of a full-scale invasion, and this is the most interesting because it evaluates how officials acquired assets or bought new cars, real estate. For example, after analyzing the declarations of people's deputies, we saw that every third deputy over these two years, even in the 22nd year, had either a new car or new real estate, which indicates the interesting things that can be looked for in the declarations.
Of course, this does not indicate signs of illegal enrichment, but in fact, it indicates a trend in how deputies and officials changed their assets,” Mitkalik said.
