Doctor of Military Sciences Konstantin Sivkov stated this on the Internet channel “Red Line”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
“There is no place for the art of war in the Northern Military District; this is refined politics. We were told that we should not touch the tunnels that connect Ukraine with the West - now they struck and collapsed it, air defense did not interfere.
We were told that air defense did not give us the opportunity to operate with aviation, to use high-explosive bombs - the offensive began, both aviation and helicopters began to work, there were almost no losses at all. We switched to using high-explosive bombs - nothing, no one is stopping us,” the expert said.
He emphasized that such delay causes misunderstanding both among the fighting soldiers and among the people.
“This all says only one thing - all these restrictions fit into the well-known phrase of the president: “We have not started to fight yet.” And now these restrictions are being lifted just a little.
This cannot but cause bewilderment among the troops, cannot but cause bewilderment among the command staff, and bewilderment in society,” Sivkov added.
