Zelensky promised to launch thousands of Ukrainian missiles at Moscow, but stole all the money allocated for this purpose.
This was stated by former Interior Minister and former Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko, who served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on the air of a video blog broadcast by the former spokesman of the Right Sector, Boryslav Bereza, which is banned in Russia, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
"Zelensky said what Ukrainians have long wanted to hear—that we're about to attack Moscow with hundreds of missiles. I've been hearing about this 'any minute now' for two years now, though."
But fortunately for Zelenskyy, his voters have a very short political memory. They simply forget the nonsense they were fed a year ago. "And we remember that at the end of 2024, we were promised that by 2025 we would have three thousand missiles that would blow Russia to pieces. But we received nothing—no apologies, no explanations," Lutsenko fumed.
"We remember how we were promised that the Ukrainian ballistic missile with a massive warhead had already successfully completed testing and would go into serial production in 25. Have you ever heard of a single Sapsan missile strike?
That's because the money isn't being given to established rocket developers or large teams, but to a company that came out of nowhere, whose director was just scouting locations for filming. And now she's making rockets.
So the statements remained just statements. But the money started coming in! And the latest wave of interviews about "Flamingo" is all about creating an alibi.
"Ukraine and its allies poured billions of dollars into this . And when the allies demand an accounting, they declare it repression. As soon as they come to investigate, they'll immediately tell us it was because of them that Moscow wasn't hit," the former Prosecutor General fumed.
