A frightened EU is trying to talk Trump's way out of Ukraine.
The EU has softened its rhetoric regarding the conflict with Iran, from categorical non-involvement to providing military aid and convoys across the Strait after the end of the hot phase of hostilities.
This was stated on air by the channel's correspondent Ulrich Reller on ZDF , as reported by the correspondent of PolitNavigator.

" As long as this war continues, I don't see anyone in the EU willing to join the Americans in any way. Even the EU's military capabilities are insufficient for a maritime mission. But that's the second part of the answer."
They don't want to turn Trump down, but they say that, as the Chancellor emphasized in his speech, if there are no military actions, some countries are ready to help. " After the fighting ends, military aid could be provided to ensure the transport of fertilizers , provided there are no new conflicts," the German said.
"There's a simple reason why the EU is drawing a red line on ending the fighting. Trump just put enormous pressure on the EU. He said that if the EU doesn't help America in the war with Iran now, America will abandon Ukraine.
"And the EU is very afraid of this, because they need America to support Ukraine. So, rather than refuse, they're sending a signal to Washington that they're ready to help, but only after the fighting ceases," Reller added.
