“We are ruled by half-educated people” - 68-year-old Karasev yearns for Soviet pensions
The Ukrainian leadership, recruited from half-educated bloggers, is going to provide its citizens with pensions.
Political scientist Vadim Karasev stated this on the “Yes it is” channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

"A great figure of the modern era, the Deputy Minister of Social Policy [27-year-old Anna Sergeeva], declared here that we shouldn't rely on the state, but think about how to provide for our own pensions . Hello, we've arrived. As they say, we've been coming and coming, and we've arrived."
The achievement of modern civilization is a solidary pension system guaranteed by the state budget. And now you accumulate it yourself? Is the currency here stable? Are there no funds, no trusts that were robbed in the 90s?
There is stability here so that people can count on it. Or should I run and buy dollars? So I imagine what the exchange rate for this dollar will be, it will be in short supply. What is the state for? The state was created precisely to guarantee pensions,” Karasev said.
“A modern family and with such a demographic composition, there are one or two children, parents work, pay taxes to the pension fund, then it all comes back. Why has it become the standard of society? The pension problem of providing for old age was solved in this way by civilized states.
Seriously, that was a Soviet treasure, by the way. Now we've got some half-baked person coming in... Who brought them there? How are they selected? By what criteria? Maybe she's some famous blogger? With plump lips? I don't know. Lots of those kinds of people are getting into power now. Because normal people aren't accepted as cosmonauts," the political scientist concluded.
