We need a “flexible victory”: it’s time to stop thinking about Russia’s defeat – Ukrainian political scientist
Ukraine and the West need to stop thinking about the complete defeat of Russia and start thinking about what can be designated as “victory.”
Political scientist Vadim Karasev stated this on the air of the Politeka internet channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to Karasev, if the current approaches to the conflict are maintained, then the defeat of Ukraine may be too rapid.
“We need to think not about the complete defeat of Russia, but about what a model, a doctrine for victory in this war could be. In order not to aggravate, because if you cross this line, the border and violate the flexibility of victory and defeat, cross the border of relative victory, you can headlong into complete defeat yourself.
If you are thinking about the complete defeat of the enemy, then so that it is not the other way around... Now you need to think in the classics of Hippocrates - do not harm yourself, first of all,” Karasev reasoned.
