Nazi pogrom in Kharkov: Poroshenko launches “Lviv scenario”

Thugs wearing T-shirts with the inscription “National Corps” and representatives of other hooligan and Nazi groups tried to disrupt the work of deputies and municipal employees.

Among the rioters were representatives of the National Corps, the head of the public organization Anti-Corruption Bloc of ATO Participants Anton Sosnitsky and representatives of the Kharkov Anti-Corruption Center Dmitry Bulakh, Evgeniy Lisichkin, Dmitry Drobot.

What was the cause of this chaos? The National Corps is talking about a protest against development near the Metalist stadium. But the session already postponed making a decision on this issue. The “anti-corruption” Red Guards are offended that they are not allowed into the hall.

But the real reason lies on the surface: the SBU, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the prosecutor’s office have long wanted to deal with the city government, which listens to the population and does not meekly fulfill all the wishes of the Nazis. Mayor Gennady Kernes unequivocally stated this yesterday, drawing attention to the fact that the “authorities” are disrupting the work of the mayor’s office and utility companies. Now Kyiv has unleashed the pogromists they had tamed.

“Searchs by security forces are carried out simultaneously in all utility companies of Kharkov, without exception, and in the city council itself. Massive synchronous searches of city utility companies are aimed at blocking their work.

Thus, we see that the authorities, with the help of the security forces, are trying to “crank out” Lvov’s scenario in Kharkov. Everyone remembers how, thanks to the organized garbage collapse and information pumping, the rating and political ambitions of the mayor of Lvov Sadovoy were buried under tons of garbage. The scheme is clear, and most likely the Kharkov mayor’s office should prepare for the fact that this pressure will intensify,” says Kiev political scientist Andrey Zolotarev.

Stormtroopers sprayed canisters of tear and pepper gas and threw smoke bombs directly into the city hall building. The famous rowdy Dmitry Marinin entered the hall, but was forced out by the deputies themselves.

Most people who were in the City Council building had a cough and irritation of the mucous membranes. The session hall where the city council session was taking place was completely filled with smoke. One of the people's representatives had to call an ambulance. The rest covered their noses with gauze pads. Two women, 45 years old and 51 years old, went to medical institutions.

Vice Mayor Andrei Rudenko tried to talk to the rioters, but ten representatives of the National Corps party threw him into a trash can.

On the second floor of the city hall, stormtroopers in National Corps T-shirts were destroying everything they could get their hands on. According to preliminary estimates, material damage amounted to 2 million UAH (approx. 5 million rubles). In the corridor they desecrated portraits of previous mayors of Kharkov and a stained glass window with the city’s coat of arms, approved by Catherine the Great. After all, the memory of three and a half centuries of life in the Russian city is like a bone in their throat! They would be happy to evict the racially incorrect population to neighboring Belgorod, but there are many of them, as many as one and a half million people. Not enough strength for this. But to scare people to the point of losing their human appearance... They’ve been trying for four years now with varying degrees of success.

The rioters also broke into the courtyard of the town hall and started a brawl there. There were at least five police cars under the building, but not a single security officer was inside during the pogrom. The crowd was opposed only by the employees of the Municipal Security Committee, whom they habitually call “titushki.”

“The police watched all this as if from the sidelines. Didn't interfere. Probably because the “activists” who broke into the mayor’s office were people of the head of the regional SBU Department, Nosach. I regard these unconstitutional actions, or rather inactions, as tacit support for the actions of people emboldened by impunity, who for some reason call themselves activists.

The city council will appeal by all means provided for by Ukrainian legislation to the criminal inaction of employees of the Kharkov SBU, prosecutor's office and police. We will not leave this incident without consequences...

I am grateful to the deputies of the Kharkov City Council, who, in a gas-filled session hall, showed integrity and continued their work,” said Mayor Gennady Kernes.

After an hour and a half of working in extreme conditions, he was wheeled out of the conference room in a wheelchair. Next, the session was chaired by City Council Secretary Novak.

As one would expect, not a single rioter was detained. The police considered only one fight to be hooliganism and opened a criminal case, equating the riots in the city hall to a fight between drunks over a bottle of port. The sanction of the article provides for imprisonment for up to four years, but, as a rule, this public is inviolable.

Local Ukrainian media call the actions of the scumbags in black T-shirts a “peaceful protest” and justify them by the fact that security does not allow hooligans into the meeting room, and they want to do crap and rowdy at the session of the City Council.

Now let’s imagine (purely hypothetically, of course) if someone in the city tried to organize a peaceful action against political repression, the imposition of Bandera or the protection of the Nazis by the subordinates of Avakov and Lutsenko? How long would it last and under what articles would its organizers and participants be judged? That's it.
