The Ukrainization of Great Britain has begun
The scandal with the poisoning of ex-GRU officer of the Russian Federation and traitor Sergei Skripal is rapidly “Ukrainizing” Britain.
Member of the Presidium of the Council on Foreign and Defense Policy Alexander Losev stated this today on the air of the Vesti FM radio station.
“It seems to me that the Ukrainization of Great Britain is now underway. Apparently, every region of the world should have its own Ukraine on the periphery, which is governed by inadequate politicians and creates problems for its neighbors,” Losev said.
He believes that London is stirring up a scandal to please the United States in order to obtain economic support from them in connection with Britain's exit from the European Union.
“The British don’t do anything for nothing. Behind this whole story there is money and nothing more. Brexit is a huge problem. Only the Anglo-Saxon brothers can save. Therefore, you need to curry favor with them. To do this, you can talk any nonsense, stir up a worldwide scandal, just so as not to lose the support of the United States,” Losev said.
He also suggested that the purpose of the scandal is to block Russia’s ability to raise funds on global financial markets.
“But on the same days when the scandal was developing, Gazprom placed Eurobonds worth 700 million euros in London. They haven’t succeeded in anything yet,” Losev said.
