“If a crisis breaks out in the world (we hope this does not happen), our path will be more difficult. Sanctions pressure (we see that it is increasing) is seriously affecting our partners in other countries. The sanctions are very powerful. Their influence on the Russian and global economies should not be underestimated. It will be impossible to isolate yourself from their influence,” Nabiullina said.

At the same time, she noted that the Central Bank may influence some economic indicators.

“First of all, let our citizens and businesses live and develop in a new, more aggressive environment. The key issue is not only maintaining stability. We are convinced that a prerequisite for development is macroeconomic stability. Low, predictable inflation and a predictable budget are the beacons that the economy continues to focus on,” Nabiullina said.
