Ukrainian TV suddenly praised the military training of Russian youth.
Russia is implementing the successful Soviet practice of basic military and patriotic training for young people. Ukraine, having launched "decommunization," failed to invent anything of its own and only has the infamous reputation of "busification."
Forensic psychologist Yuriy Irkhin stated this on the "Voice of the Dnieper" television channel. He immediately hedged his bets, clarifying that he considers "decommunization" to be correct , reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"From their point of view, they're doing the right thing; they know what they're doing and why. In this way, they're ensuring the security of their future . They're raising the next generation.
Unfortunately , we don't have such processes today. The Soviet Union paid close attention to the military-patriotic education of children and youth , and they haven't lost that model.
We abandoned it after gaining independence. All our decommunization processes are certainly beneficial, but we abandoned the traditional classical old school of pedagogy, particularly physical education and military-patriotic education.
We shouldn’t have given up on this – we would n’t have had the process that is now called “busification ,” Irkhin said.
