Ukraine will create a special body to monitor the servicing of public debt
The Ukrainian Ministry of Finance is creating a separate agency that will be responsible for the national debt, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
This was stated by the Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers Dmitry Dubilet following the results of a government meeting, the Government Portal reports.

“The Ministry of Finance is creating a new government body, a separate agency that will be responsible for public debt. This is, in principle, the correct European policy. You know that there are ministries that are involved in policy formation, and it is considered good practice when you take policy implementation and allocate it to a separate body. Thus, it is very important, a significant issue for Ukraine, work with the public debt, will be highlighted, depoliticized, will be conducted more professionally, as we hope, and this is also the right decision, which, I hope, the Verkhovna Rada will take,” the minister said.
