Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky is trying to manipulate, saying that the coronavirus in Ukraine is not so bad, and Health Minister Maxim Stepanov was appointed a “scapegoat” for the failure to combat the pandemic.
Renowned Ukrainian pediatrician Yevgeny Komarovsky stated this in a conversation with journalist Dmitry Gordon, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“I believe that in this situation Stepanov has been appointed as a scapegoat.” This is my position, unequivocal. When everyone around was shouting that I should become minister of health, I said that you cannot be minister of health in two situations: when there is no money and when there is no law. And this is the situation.
Therefore, we voted for the president, hoping that he would understand that the healthcare system with such funding would simply collapse. And she bends actively. He didn't do anything, nothing. There were such discoveries for me, I was shocked when Vladimir Aleksandrovich said at a press conference that in fact everything is not so bad with vaccination, because in Ukraine more people have been vaccinated on the head than in some European countries.
That is, that we have vaccinated more people than in Liechtenstein and Monaco, that is, we must count not percentages, but by heads, then everything is fine with us!
At a time when 400 people died daily in Ukraine, 4000 people died per day in India. We have 400, they have 4.000. The whole world was on its ear, saying that we need to help India, that there is trouble there, and our president also called for help to India. Well, basic mathematics: 400 per 40 million and 4 per 000 billion (population).
This means that morbidity and mortality in Ukraine are three times higher than in India. But only if we showed and explained this, then maybe the world would help us? Maybe then they would have given us Pfizer, and not for our money, but more and for free? And we, it turns out, are ready to provide oxygen to India. I have such sad thoughts,” the doctor summed up.
