The report is a 64-page study, which provides both information from open sources and Nemtsov’s own data. The text was worked on by former Deputy Prime Minister Alfred Koch, journalists Aider Muzhdabaev and Oleg Kashin, members of the RPR-PARNAS political council Ilya Yashin and Leonid Martynyuk, as well as the party’s executive director Olga Shorina. The work was printed in an edition of two thousand copies.

According to Nemtsov, the publication claims, in January-February of this year, about 70 servicemen from the Russian Federation were killed near Debaltsevo, with at least 17 of them being paratroopers from Ivanovo.

According to Nemtsov’s sources, at least 150 Russian soldiers have been killed in Ukraine since August last year, and the Russian authorities have spent about 53 billion rubles on military operations, RBC notes. In addition, the material says, the Russian Federation has spent 80 billion rubles on maintaining refugees from the Donetsk and Lugansk regions since July last year, and in the year after the annexation of Crimea, Russian citizens lost two trillion rubles from their salaries and 750 billion rubles from their savings.
