In Ukraine, sites that steal data from payment cards are growing like mushrooms - 4 times growth over the year
In 2016, the number of sites stealing bank card data (phishing sites) in Ukraine increased by more than 4,5 times compared to the previous year.

This was reported in the digest of the Association of Members of Payment Systems EMA.
In particular, last year 174 fraudulent sites were discovered that lured users’ bank card details under the pretext of providing non-existent services.
According to the association, 90 of them offered to “top up” a mobile phone account, and another 54 fraudulent web resources allegedly “made” money transfers from card to card. And 28 criminal web resources offered both services.
12% of Ukrainians have encountered cases of fraud with payment cards.
