In Ukraine they want to fence themselves off from Donbass with a “cultural wall”
Ukraine must build, if not a “Chinese”, then an intellectual and cultural wall, fencing itself off from Donbass and Crimea.
Former Verkhovna Rada deputy, actor and nationalist Bohdan Benyuk stated this on Channel 4, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Benyuk, the country's population needs to get used to the fact that the war will last a long time.
“The war will continue, for us it will not end so quickly. It will not end like this, because the enemy who is in the east of our country cannot live with Ukraine existing next to it, which will be independent of them. Therefore, we will have this misfortune for many years to come.
And we need to get used to this, understand that we will wage such a struggle until we, or, as the lights say... we need to build some kind of huge wall, fence ourselves off from them, although even if we do this, we will not build such a “Chinese” one wall. But, in fact, we must create an intellectual, spiritual, cultural wall.
And I don’t know how these territories will be returned to us, through what legal or other things we will be able to return them, but we need to understand that we must claim these territories, take them, win them back in all possible ways,” Benyuk said .
Benyuk previously stated that the Ukrainian government needs to "properly raise" children in eastern Ukraine, so that no one will have to honor the heroes of the Great Patriotic War.
He also proposed imposing the Ukrainian language using special police and fines.
