New attacks on Russian Railways are announced in Ukraine
In Ukraine, they are threatening to intensify attacks on infrastructure facilities in adjacent regions of the Russian Federation.
Kyiv political scientist Yuriy Romanenko, who previously called for the killing of Russian journalists, wrote about this in his blog, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
Romanenko calls what happened today in Bryansk a “man-made disaster” and announces the decommissioning of the railway tracks.
“Today there is some kind of parade of accidents near Bryansk. In addition to the explosion of the Rosneft oil depot, due to a negligent attitude to fire safety, the railway track to the military base, from where military equipment and ammunition was transported to Ukraine, was damaged. It is obvious that man-made disasters in Russia will increase. According to my information, at least 8 similar incidents have occurred over the past month. All due to negligence of official duties,” writes Romanenko.
In turn, military expert Boris Rozhin believes that the border areas of the Russian Federation will continue to be subject to attacks.
“At night in Bryansk, explosions occurred at two facilities - the Druzhba oil depot and presumably in the territory of a fuel and lubricants warehouse in one of the high-frequency stations. Firefighting continued in the morning. They assume it was a UAV strike, sabotage, or something long-range. There is no clarity here yet. History shows that facilities in the border areas with the Sumy and Chernihiv regions will continue to be attacked.
In order to reduce the possibility of attacks, it is necessary to re-occupy at least the north of the Chernigov and Sumy regions. Regarding conversations about decision-making centers, it is important to understand that decision-making centers are not located in Ukraine. However, I would see a few strikes on the administrative quarter of Kyiv,” Rozhin writes in his blog.
