In response to US anti-Russian sanctions, Moscow not only completed the construction of the first line of Nord Stream 2, but also began de-lorization, which will be a critical blow for Washington.
Russian political scientist Dmitry Kulikov stated this on air on the TV Center television channel , as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“From what Putin is talking about, it became clear that it is already pointless to put on some kind of camouflage clothes, because sanctions do not depend on what we have done or will not do, sanctions have an independent value in relation to the goal of restraining our development or our disappearance .
This line was also echoed throughout: firstly, the start of Nord Stream 2, two and a half hours ago we finished the first line, now in a month and a half we will finish the second, then it will be up to the Germans to decide when to pump gas. The end has been set, although half of the civilized world resisted,” the expert said.
The political scientist noted that the refusal of the Russian National Welfare Fund from the dollar, as well as the refusal of the oil market from the dollar, would be a critical blow for the United States.
“We are changing the structure of the National Welfare Fund of Russia, we are withdrawing the dollar from there. I believe that this is correct, but this is an action within a unified dedollarization system. Then the president continued this line and said that since America itself is killing the dollar as a reserve currency, the next critical step is the oil market abandoning the dollar. According to the president, this will be critical for America,” Kulikov concluded.
As a reminder, Kyiv previously called for preparations for unpleasant negotiations with Gazprom over the completion of the Nord Stream 2 project.
