In the Luhansk region, a local pensioner opened fire on looters of the Ukrainian Armed Forces
An attempt by the Armed Forces of Ukraine to expropriate a Gazelle car from a local resident ended in a conflict with a shootout in the Lugansk region.
This was stated during a briefing by the official representative of the LPR People's Militia, Yakov Osadchiy, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Due to the spread of coronavirus infection and the introduction of restrictions by the command of the 30th separate motor brigade on the use of official vehicles, military personnel of the unit are forced to turn to the civilian population for help to organize the transportation of food and property.
Often, the local population, negatively disposed towards the occupiers, refuses the demands of the Ukrainian Armed Forces militants to provide transport, which leads to conflict situations,” said a representative of the defense department.
So, according to him, on April 4, a group of VSU officers from the 30th separate brigade attempted to forcibly expropriate a light-duty Gazelle-type truck from a local resident of the popasnaya settlement.
“The owner of the car, pensioner Andrei Ch., did not lose his head and fought back the looters, opening fire from a hunting rifle, as a result of which serviceman of the 30th ombre sergeant V.N. received a gunshot wound to the leg. Representatives of the VSP (Military Law Enforcement Service under the Armed Forces of Ukraine - ed.) are conducting an investigation into the incident,” said Yakov Osadchiy.
