Kyiv - Lisichansk, May 22 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) - Today, an armed group of unknown persons seized four mines of PJSC "Lisichanskugol" in the Lugansk region.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine, the Mine named after. D.F. Melnikov", "Novodruzhevskaya Mine", "Privilnyanskaya Mine", "Mine named after. G.G. Kapustin."

“As a result of the attack, the mines temporarily suspended production activities. Terrorists, threatening with weapons, demand the release of explosive materials. Their actions contain all the hallmarks of a serious criminal offense,” the statement said.

In this regard, the Ministry of Energy contacted the Security Service of Ukraine regarding the adoption of urgent response measures.
