Mikheev named the most important mistake of Russia in relation to Zelensky
The “cleanliness” of the Russian leadership allowed the expired President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky to gain international authority.
Russian political scientist Sergei Mikheev stated this in an interview with the BelTA news agency, the correspondent reports. "PolitNavigator".

“Unfortunately, our thrifty attitude towards Zelensky has made him a figure of international importance. If from the very beginning we would have forced him to sit in the basement, as was the case in the early days, and not allowed him to travel around the world and receive international guests in Kyiv, we would have prevented his legitimation at the international level. The more he met with other leaders, spoke in other parliaments, the harder it became to influence the situation, the more political authority he gained, the easier it was for him to extort help for Ukraine, and the more complex our situation became"- said Mikheev.
He believes that Russia could easily make Western delegations afraid to visit Kyiv.
