Local authorities call on Galicians to self-evacuate
Residents of Ivano-Frankivsk should prepare for the fact that in winter there will be no light for days on end.
The mayor of the city, Ruslan Martsinkiv, elected from the nationalist party Svoboda, announced this on the air of the radio station "Zapadny Polyus", as reported by the correspondent of "PolitNavigator" .

According to him, there is a high probability that electricity will be out for several days. In addition, he clarified that currently 53 multi-storey buildings in Ivano-Frankivsk are left without heating.
“I recommend finding a place to stay in a rural area or in individual houses. Perhaps someone has family, acquaintances in the villages. It is advisable to agree on accommodation; it will be very difficult to survive in apartment buildings,” the mayor warned.
He calls on residents of surrounding villages to host women and children from city high-rise buildings.
Martsinkiv said that the city is preparing heating points, but admitted that they may not accommodate everyone.
