Russia is the enemy of Ukraine, and the population of Donbass will greet the Ukrainian army as liberators.
This was stated on air by Verkhovna Rada deputy and former Party of Regions member Yuriy Boyko, who presented himself as a pro-Russian politician and visited Moscow in 2019, on the air of the DW television channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
A native of Rubezhnoye (LPR), who played on the trust of Russian supporters, said that he considered reaching the borders of 91 a victory. Boyko justified that he was pursuing a pro-Russian course because he hoped to “come to an agreement.”
“We had illusions that we could come to an agreement with Russia before February 24. These illusions disappeared after the aggressor invaded our country. There was no such thing as something pro-Russian that we wanted to go to Russia. We wanted normalization, but there was an invasion and we closed this topic. For us today, the Russian leadership is the enemy... We worked for the country and with the beginning of the aggression we stood up to defend the country just like everyone else.
For me, victory is an opportunity to return to my hometown, captured by the Russians - Rubezhnoye. And we fully support the plan that we must go out and restore our borders of 91,” the degenerate said.
“Different moods in those territories... have already realized that with the arrival of Russia there was no special happiness added there. Therefore, to say that they are all collaborators is not. There are a lot of people there who are waiting for us... In fact, they did everything for us - we will just come there as liberators,” Boyko raved.
