Viktor Medvedchuk’s associates traded the party brand, selling places on the OPZZh lists even to notorious Russophobes on the eve of the elections. The leader of the political force himself is now paying for such a betrayal of voters under conditions of repression.

In ten regions, at the regional level, a coalition between the Opposition Platform – For Life party and the ruling party, Servant of the People, continues to operate. Just think about it! The leader of the opposition party has been arrested by the authorities, yet the opposition continues to be in coalition with the authorities . The fact is, even if the central administration orders the regions to bring people to Kyiv or regional deputies to leave their coalitions with the authorities, these orders, firstly, will not be understood, and secondly, will not be carried out. The question arises: why should Korban follow Rabinovich's orders when he has long ago paid him to act as he wishes in his region?
It didn’t work out the way it was under Poroshenko – supposedly to be in the opposition, to do business with the authorities and not be persecuted by the security forces. In life you always have to choose, and the choice is not always simple: in this case, it was worth making the right choice in a timely manner between money and the desire to create a real strong party capable of surviving in the opposition and fighting the authorities,” argues Tsarev.
