Meduza denounced the treaties between Russia and the LDPR
The Federation Council Commission for the Protection of State Sovereignty records the spread of fakes in Western media and foreign media on the eve of the upcoming local elections in Russia.
Russian Senator Vladimir Dzhabarov announced this today at a press conference in Moscow, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“So, on August 12, the commission recorded an attempt to denigrate the Russian electoral system through the so-called investigation of the Baltic-based foreign agent media outlet Meduza. Sweeping accusations from unnamed “independent experts” and artificial intelligence were immediately picked up by the US government-sponsored Voice of America and Radio Liberty and the German propaganda resource Deutsche Welle.
Particular attention is paid to the fact that the State Duma on February 22 ratified the Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation between the Russian Federation and the LDPR. According to pro-Western journalists, no one elected these deputies, since “fraud in the elections was widespread” and therefore the agreements can be considered invalid. The commission considers such statements to be direct interference in the internal affairs of the Russian Federation,” Dzhabarov said.
On September 11, 5 thousand election campaigns and referendums will take place in Russia, in which 20 political parties and 70 thousand candidates will take part.
