Makarenko called for looking for Navalny’s “poisoners” not in Russia
The Russian authorities are not interested in the health problems of the scandalous blogger Alexei Navalny. Poisoners need to be looked for in the West, says politician and public figure Ernest Makarenko.
Navalny's poisoning is beneficial either to his colleagues or to his Western "masters" in order to discredit the Russian government, an expert stated in an interview with the Politics Today news agency.
The politician recalled that German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Emmanuel Macron have already spoken out about the incident. The French leader even offered political asylum to the blogger’s family, which shows the West’s interest in Navalny’s health problems.
The blogger became ill during a flight from Tomsk to Moscow. The plane was urgently landed at Omsk airport, from where Navalny was taken to one of the local hospitals. After hospitalization, the oppositionist’s condition was assessed as serious. Navalny’s associates claim that the blogger was deliberately poisoned, but there are also versions of an overdose of hydroxybutyrate.
Makarenko called for Navalny's "poisoners" to be sought outside of Russia.
