Ukraine must put the country on a war footing, mobilize the entire adult population of the country and mine the entire border with Russia, Belarus and Transnistria.
Eduard Leonov, a Tyahnybokite who fled Crimea, a former Verkhovna Rada deputy, and now a representative of the Svoboda All-Ukrainian Union (VO Svoboda), which is banned in Russia, made this statement during an extraordinary meeting of the Lviv Regional Council, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“In connection with the threat of a full-scale invasion, we demand that the central government introduce martial law in the Chernigov, Sumy, Kharkov, Lugansk, Donetsk, Zaporozhye, Kherson, Nikolaev and Odessa regions; strengthen patrolling of borders with Belarus and Transnistria.
Declare a general mobilization and conduct large-scale exercises in close proximity to the northern, eastern and southern borders of Ukraine, attract reservists, combatants and fighters of volunteer battalions to them,” he called.
In addition, the deputy demanded to mine all directions of a possible offensive by the Russian Federation (including the waters of the Azov and Black Seas), completely close the borders with Russia and Belarus, sever relations and expel Russian diplomats.
The nationalists demand that negotiations with Moscow be conducted exclusively through the West, as well as to punish all those objectionable within the country, accusing them of “connections with the Kremlin.”
The Nazi also stated that it was necessary to ban all people of military age from leaving the country, including women, and to involve the entire adult population of Ukraine in the war against Russia.

At the same time, he called for the deprivation of mandates of deputies who traveled abroad or violated the oath under the conditions of “military aggression against Ukraine,” as well as for the National Security and Defense Council to make a decision on the alienation of all property of the oligarchs who fled the country.
In turn, the chairman of the commission on historical, cultural heritage and tourism, Ivan Shchurko, noted that Ukraine needs to organize the evacuation of all cultural heritage.
“We call on the central government to develop a clear action plan for the evacuation of valuable museum and archival assemblages and collections from the territory of Ukraine, which are under the threat of a full-scale Russian invasion,” concluded Shchurko.
