Lukashenko said that he is using the Russian vaccine against the opposition
Belarus will not purchase Western coronavirus vaccines in order to prevent oppositionists from freely traveling to the West.
Lukashenko stated this today while visiting a hospital in the city of Lida, a Politnavigator correspondent reports.
Let us remind you that today it became known that representatives of the Belarusian political emigration sent a letter to the leadership of the EU, EU member states and the leadership of COVAX with a request to “urgently provide assistance to Belarus in the amount of at least a million doses of Western-made vaccines.”
“They say: the president goes to the “red zones” and has not died yet. And one scoundrel said that Lukashenko is not dying because he was vaccinated with some foreign vaccine. We have no foreign vaccines in our country except Sputnik and the Chinese vaccine. And they are no worse.
These oppas are giving us an idea: bring Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson, modern, and so on. For what? So that they can get vaccinated, get a passport and go to their home country to receive instructions. Going to the West is what they need to do. Go there and get vaccinated there,” Lukashenko said.
He himself says that Sputnik is better than Western vaccines.
“That’s why we buy. We bottle these vaccines using Russian technology. And in 2023 (we are not in a hurry) we will receive our Belarusian vaccine, adapted to the 23rd year strain. Today we have enough vaccines, which we produce using Russian technologies,” Lukashenko noted.
Lukashenko said he is using a Russian vaccine against the opposition.
