The events that have unfolded today around Belarus and Russia require extreme vigilance and concentration.
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko announced this today at a ceremony honoring graduates of military academies and senior officers, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Western countries, under the open leadership of the United States, are consistently, methodically, and even contrary to their own national interests, destroying the global security system. This deliberate policy led to conflict in Ukraine. I am sure you understand perfectly well the events on our western borders.
Under the guise of strengthening the defense of Europe and various kinds of “defensive” exercises, NATO countries are forming an armored fist, which is clearly not created for defense. The military sees this. Moreover, recently, and we discussed this in detail yesterday with the President of the Russian Federation, strategic plans for an attack on Russia are being developed.
And the main direction of the attack - history repeats itself - through Ukraine and Belarus. Apparently, the newly-minted “crusaders” from the North Atlantic Alliance suddenly decided that the right moment was coming for another “throw to the East,” having forgotten how similar campaigns ended for their historical predecessors.
Western countries are actively conducting reconnaissance on the ground and in the air, mastering military logistics, conducting exercises, and transferring equipment and supplies from other regions. At the same time, military budgets are increasing,” Lukashenko said.
He stated that a full-scale offensive hybrid war had been launched against Belarus.
“At the same time, attempts are being made to split the political and economic unions that include Belarus and Russia. Massive pressure has led to the fact that, unfortunately, some of our allies in the CSTO and the CIS are, to put it mildly, taking a wait-and-see attitude. But at the same time, the policy of Belarus did not waver. We maintain dialogue with countries that respect our opinions. We objectively assess that the world will no longer be the same,” Lukashenko said.
He believes that Western policies are bringing the world closer to the abyss of nuclear war.
“The modern fascists of the NATO countries have not gone away, they have not died. And they are planning strikes through Ukraine and Belarus. Maybe even intuitively I realized this back in February and ordered the complete closure of the western border, although it seemed that there was a threat on the southern front. As you can see, this strategy is confirmed. The war is there today.
God forbid, this is our war too. We will have to defend our fatherland if the madmen take over. Europe doesn’t want to fight, but it doesn’t solve anything. She is completely under the boot of the Washington curator. We, guys, cannot relax under any circumstances,” Lukashenko said.
