Crimeans are more satisfied with life than other Russians – sociologist
The level of public optimism in Crimea is higher than in Russia as a whole.
Ukrainian sociologist Yevgeny Kopatko, who moved to Moscow after the coup, stated this on the air of the Voice of Truth internet channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to Kopatko, Crimeans are inspired by the changes that have taken place on the peninsula in recent years, so the ratings of both the president and the head of the republic are high here.
“I conducted surveys in Crimea more than once, in Sevastopol and in Crimea. The level of social optimism will even be slightly higher than the Russian average. This inertia still remains, there are many questions, there are questions. By the way, people are not shy about answering questions, I’m telling you as a sociologist.
In principle, there is criticism, but in Crimea there is such a thing as internal nobility - people know how to be grateful for what has been done. Well, plus they themselves showed will and patience. This is when it is connected with the blackout that the Crimean society stood in solidarity.
Well, I want to say that if we talk about Crimea as a whole, then one of the things that I noticed is a very high level of social optimism - one, the trust in the President of the Russian Federation is unprecedentedly high - that's two. Trust in the head of Crimea Sergei Aksenov has been consistently high for years – that’s three.
Fourth is waiting. If we talk about what has been done - the airport, and Tavrida, and the bridge is truly fabulous, I have traveled across it many times - it is truly a very beautiful, luxurious building,” said Kopatko.
