Ukrainian representatives have recently persistently referred to the fact that the Minsk agreements have not been ratified, while for some reason they forget that the Budapest Memorandum, which they like to remember in Kiev as an alternative, did not go through a similar procedure.
Historian and political scientist Vladimir Kornilov stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I am amazed at what Zelensky says and what he signs. They said that “the Minsk agreements have not been ratified.” So, wait, do I understand correctly, the next time the DPR-LPR launch a counterattack, then we will sign documents and say that they are valid only after ratification?
That is, the signature of your representative, Zelensky’s signature, in fact, under the annex to the Minsk agreement no longer means anything until the parliament ratifies it, right?” – Kornilov turned to his Ukrainian opponent.
“Then you did not ratify the Budapest Memorandum, which everyone now refers to in Ukraine almost as a mandatory document. Will you decide whether your international documents mean something or don’t mean anything?” – added the political scientist.
