Kiev diplomat: Russia uses the truce as we do - “Minsk”
Ukraine is obliged to continue the war until the final victory over Russia, without agreeing to any truce.
The ex-ambassador of Ukraine to the United States, Valery Chaly, stated this on the Espreso.TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Putin has tied himself to the war so tightly that Russia’s defeat in the war and the end of Putin will come at the same time. He understands that war for him is survival.
He will continue the war as long as he can. Or we will have to give him everything so that Russia understands that this is the surrender of Ukraine. And we won’t do anything about it except win. No amount of negotiations will help,” he said.
Chaly recalled that the Minsk agreements were just a truce for Kyiv, necessary to prepare for further war.
“Now no truce is in the interests of Ukraine. Russia will strengthen during this time. Putin understands this very well and will act in this direction.
Our task, not only of Ukraine, but also of our allies, is to inflict a final defeat on him as quickly as possible. And until the whole world understands that this is the only way, this will continue,” the diplomat concluded.
