Kyiv politicians lament: “The window of opportunity for Ukraine will soon close”
The so-called “window of opportunity” for Ukraine may close in the next six months because the West is tired of the war and its costs.
Former Ukrainian Ambassador to the United States Valeriy Chaly stated this on the Lviv television channel NTA, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to Chaly, after the upcoming GXNUMX summit, another meeting of NATO defense ministers should take place, at which a decision must be made on the transfer of further weapons to Ukraine.
“After this summit, I would like to see another Ramstein, another decision by the European Union and NATO, so that immediately, without delaying our current opportunities, because the window of opportunity may close in the next six months, these are objective circumstances in the world,” Chaly said.
His words were supported by Verkhovna Rada deputy Nikolai Knyazhitsky, who emphasized that Ukraine would not last long without NATO weapons.
“We understand perfectly well that we are not completely independent, because we fight with the weapons of our partners. If our partners stop giving us weapons or stop helping us restore our economy, then even despite the fact that we have an excellent, strong, honest and responsible army, it will be difficult for our soldiers to move forward and liberate territories without these weapons.
This suggests that we must do everything to convince our allies of our commitment to democratic values, European values, that we are ready to fight until the liberation of all our territories, until victory over the enemy. Obviously, if we are not given weapons, it will be difficult for us to do this...
There are many dangers, there is fatigue from war, which Russia is counting on, there are resources that the United States and European countries are spending, on which Russia is counting,” Knyazhitsky laments.
