This was announced by the initiator of the draft decision, Kyiv City Council deputy Vladislav Mikhailenko, 4
Commenting on the decision on Facebook , Dmytro Belotserkovets, Kyiv Mayor's Advisor on Urban Development, noted that the small architectural forms' owners had won the lower court case. However, the city authorities have no intention of backing down and have already filed an appeal.
According to the official, during the consideration of the case by the Court of Appeal, “clashes occurred; they (the owners of the LAFs - Ed.) put pressure on the court and did not allow other activists into the premises. Ultimately, the court decided in favor of the mafists.”
In this regard, a new draft decision has been registered with the Kyiv City Council, which will make it impossible to sell alcohol or beer in kiosks. It will not be possible to cancel the document in court, because the very concept of “sale of alcohol” will be removed from the functionality of MAFs.
