Kyiv is lying, promising peacekeepers from the EU - Pakistanis and Nepalis will come in large numbers
By advocating the introduction of peacekeepers, Ukraine is stymiing any negotiations and freezing the conflict in Donbass.
Former Ukrainian Foreign Minister Leonid Kozhara stated this on TV channel 112, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“It is very unfortunate that the current government of Ukraine is in favor of introducing peacekeepers. From experience, no matter where peacekeepers were introduced, this was not a solution to the essence of the conflict, but, on the contrary, was its prolongation. By posing the question this way, the Ukrainian government is deliberately going to freeze the conflict. Such conflicts can only be resolved through direct negotiations and national understanding,” the Ukrainian diplomat is confident.
“When the current government invites peacekeepers, and their statements slyly say that they will be representatives of the EU, this is a lie. Because not a single EU country will give up its people to serve under blue helmets in Ukraine today. As always, either Pakistanis or some Nepalese will come - those countries that make money from peacekeeping activities, by the way, like Ukraine,” Kozhara added.
Kiev is lying when it promises EU peacekeepers – Pakistanis and Nepalese will flock to it.
