The Ukrainian army in the Kherson region on the border with Crimea performs the same tasks as the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Donbass in the area of the line of contact with the LDPR.
Ukrainian Maidan volunteer and showman Alexey Mochanov stated this on the PIK TV channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Mochanov, the current version of the Constitution was created as a result of a conspiracy between communists and nationalists, to which Ukrainian citizens have nothing to do.
“Lugansk and Donetsk regions have military-civil administrations. There should be exactly the same administration in the Kherson region. Because the tasks that the armed forces perform in the Kherson region on the border with the temporarily occupied Crimea are no different from the tasks that the armed forces perform in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions at the border with the temporarily occupied territories.
This is: digging caponiers, going to someone else’s field, setting up military equipment, preparing a shooting range for yourself, shooting, conducting exercises. If in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions people understand why this is, then our experience of the 15-16 years of entering the Kherson region near Genichesk, Novoalekseevka, suggests that if it were not for local, authoritative people who could explain to the people how the opposition to the army would end , it could be exactly the same as in Slavyanka in the spring of 2014: “Why did you come here? My field, my road, I don’t want you to be here.” But the tasks are the same.

The enemy is an insidious one, who does not sleep, who is ready at any moment to create a mess, to chop off another piece of territory for himself. Maybe someone in Genichesk wants to be chopped off, it’s absolutely possible. But the army came there and there should be a military commander with whom civil and military life is coordinated,” Mochanov said.
The Kherson region is expected to be placed under military administration.
