The corresponding statement was read out at a rally near the Verkhovna Rada from a stage set up by trade unions, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“A decrease in the level of income of Ukrainian citizens – isn’t this genocide,” was said in the speech. – Why do people die in the ATO? Our president promised to end the ATO in two weeks, but he is still dragging out this war. Why did all of Europe apply sanctions against Russia, but we did not? Why are we feeding the aggressor country? Why are Russian banks still on the territory of Ukraine and financing the murders of our guys in the east of the country?”
In addition to anti-Russian ones, there were also calls for unification against the current Ukrainian government.
“Each of us does not have the best financial situation, but we need to unite and oppose the government, which cannot do anything for us,” the speech said.
