"Ferry traffic will be completely suspended daily from 8:00 a.m. to 15:00 p.m. Moscow time to allow for construction work," the United Transport Directorate's dispatch service told Interfax on Tuesday.
Currently, the crossing is operating as normal, with two large-capacity ferries “Ionas” and “Olympiada” operating. The storm warning that was in effect since last weekend has been cancelled, and there are no queues of cars at the ports of Kavkaz and Crimea.
The Kerch Strait ferry will be closed during the day until January 29.
