Karasev is not sure that Britain and Germany will pull Ukraine together without the United States
Taught by the bitter experience of Afghanistan, the United States is trying to carefully exit the war in Ukraine and hand over the reins of its sponsorship to Great Britain and Germany.
Ukrainian political scientist Vadim Karasev said this on the air of the Odessa channel “Grad”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.

“Speaking to his voters, one of the leaders of the presidential race from the Republican Party, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, said that we do not know what Biden’s goal is in Ukraine. Moreover, he said that the Biden administration has led the United States into a trap in Ukraine that the United States has not fallen into for the past 25 years. That's what it says: a trap. Then the question arises: how to fight, what to fight with and with whom to fight? Because all the attention can be paid to the Middle East, Taiwan and the election campaign in the United States,” Karasev said.
In his opinion, the United States is trying to “jump out” of the Ukrainian conflict while saving face.
“The United States is gradually withdrawing from the war, they want to leave. Carefully, not the way they left Afghanistan. And pass it on to Britain and Germany. But will Britain and Germany, without the participation of the United States, pull out this sponsorship of the war in various forms and the main allied obligations in the war in relation to Ukraine? – the political scientist asks.
It should be noted that a similar concern was previously expressed by one of the British colonels, warning that NATO could be left alone against Russia without US support.
Karasev isn't sure Britain and Germany can handle Ukraine without the US.
