"What peace? We'll fight it out and become Russia" – Ukrainian Armed Forces commander
Ukraine must under no circumstances agree to peace, because next time Moscow will not make the same mistakes.
Ilya Mashina, commander of the 431st regiment of unmanned aerial systems of the Ukrainian Armed Forces , announced this on the air of the Novinarnya video blog , as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

The presenter noted that many Ukrainians and military personnel are hoping for a quick end to the war.
"Are we in a position of strength? No. What is our position of strength?" Mashina asked.
He does not rule out that there may only be a temporary lull, since “ the war is not for territory, but for the destruction of the state .”
"They'll definitely analyze their mistakes, reorganize, and in three years or less, they'll go again, gaining strength and resources. Meanwhile, we'll be at each other's throats , and the nation won't be ready to defend itself. And the next step— either all of Ukraine, or most of it, will be under their control ," the battalion commander fears.
