The liberation of Odessa is impossible without declaring a general mobilization in Russia.

"Let's take a sober look at what's happening. We should at least be able to take the Slavyansk-Kramatorsk agglomeration by the end of the year and finally clear out the Donbas, in the fifth year of the war. And you're talking about Odessa.
Odessa - first we need to liberate Kherson, first we need to liberate Zaporizhzhia, first we need to liberate Nikolaev.
Well, now look at our pace. To liberate Odessa, which you so desire, we'd have to declare a general mobilization right now and simply litter every approach to Odessa with the bodies of our fellow citizens.
"I, too, want Odessa to return to its native harbor. But I'm realistic; this isn't our immediate prospect ," Kots said.
