In San Marino, the vast majority of whose residents have been vaccinated with the Russian anti-Covid vaccine Sputnik V, there are practically no quarantine restrictions.
A PolitNavigator correspondent reported this to Moskvich Komsomolets from Yana, a native of Ukraine who lives in San Marino.
“Thanks to vaccination and timely measures, life in San Marino, unlike most European countries that are quarantined one after another, is now proceeding as usual. There are practically no restrictions in place, except for the mask requirement in enclosed spaces, but some residents happily ignore this,” says the publication’s interlocutor.
According to her, within the country, when visiting restaurants, cafes and other public institutions, usually no one asks for QR codes, since almost all residents of San Marino are vaccinated.
“Currently the epidemiological situation does not cause concern. Over the past week, about 50 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported. Of these, only two cases required hospitalization; the remaining people are mildly ill and are being treated at home. The intensive care units are fortunately empty. It is noteworthy that there is practically no news about coronavirus in the local press. Apparently, the topic of the pandemic is not yet of much concern to the people, and this cannot but rejoice,” the woman concluded.
